Ready or not...

Just a reminder to all attentive readers of this blog eager for news about my birthday celebration (9th anniversary of my 18th birthday) at Hooters. I'm going to go forward with plans as they are despite some likely (though not confirmed) cancellations since rescheduling is a bigger pain. I will send out an e-mail to folks currently working in the lab as a reminder as well. All the fun will start at 5:30 PM though I'm going to get there around 5 PM to try and get a good table. If you're in Columbia and would like to come, please e-mail me (brc4yd@mizzou.edu) so I can get a bigger table. Currently, I'm planning on 6-9 people coming.

Take care all!

Brandon,
You might have noticed something unfamiliar in your kitchen lately. It's small and white. And it's not Paul. It's my casserole dish. I left it there at the Christmas party, and I miss it terribly. Could you bring it in to lab and leave it on Alex's bench? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, and have a hooterific birthday.

I'll bring it back as you have asked.

B, as per my email to your Hooters email...I'll be coming and giving my son his first Hooters experience - good father-son bonding yes?

I was talking to my dad tonight and told him of the Hooters trip, he said "Their food's not that good but the shorts are short!" - thought you'd apppreciate that.

Good fathers always know where to take their children. Family friendly places are so hard to find these days.

Believe me, you will enjoy the wings in your pre-denture condition (as for the rest I make no promises).

My plan is to buy a pitcher of beer and 25 wings and to just sit, gorge, drink and enjoy the scenery. All are welcome to partake.

Hmmm, starting at 5 with drinking and wings. I predict by the time I get there after class either 1) Brandon will be home sleeping on the couch...alone, or 2) I will find him sitting in the corner sloppy with hot sauce and a smile. Here's to hoping you don't get the one ugly waitress in the restaurant and one more for hoping she's not one of your students! Happy Birthday.
